Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Quality Control: Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, diagrams, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble product.
- Cutting and Material Preparation: Perform cutting, grinding, and material preparation per drawing or specification.
- Inspection and Quality Assurance: Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards. Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified. Rework and/or repair assembled equipment.
- Operational Support: Assist in the operation of various tools and equipment, including overhead cranes, forklifts, and material handling equipment.
- Education and Experience: Associates degree in a related discipline or 3+ years of experience in a related field.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications, proficiency with various handheld tools, drill presses, light fabrication tools, hose assembly equipment, and torque wrenches. Experience using overhead cranes, forklifts, and material handling equipment. Basic computer skills and materials management systems preferred.
