About the Opportunity

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Radiology Specialist to join their team as a Travel Imaging Technologist.

Job Summary

This is a 15-week contract position with a 40-hour workweek, requiring the successful candidate to work 8-hour shifts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Computed Tomography and be certified as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with a valid license to practice in the state of Utah.

Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures and results
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training as needed
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with a valid license to practice in the state of Utah
  • Experience working with computed tomography scanners and other imaging equipment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed, with a physical ability to perform the duties of the position
