Job Title: Registered Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Presbyterian Homes & Services. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing quality clinical nutritional care and programs for our residents.

About the Role:

The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for implementing established nutritional care programs, assessing residents' nutritional needs, and developing personalized care plans. You will also be responsible for monitoring food service operations to ensure conformance to nutritional, safety, sanitation, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess residents' nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans
  • Implement established nutritional care programs, including assessment, planning, implementation, documentation, evaluation, and education
  • Monitor food service operations to ensure conformance to nutritional, safety, sanitation, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to residents
  • Conduct patient education and counseling as needed
  • Plan and approve menus, and oversee implementation
  • Implement specialized and modified diets as ordered by physicians
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition
  • Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics or Registry Eligible
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations for long term care facilities and food service industry
  • Experience working in Long Term Care and/or Transitional Care preferred
