Nutrition Specialist

Position: Clinical Dietitian

Location: Shady Knoll Health Center

Overview:

Athena Health Care Systems is seeking a dedicated Clinical Dietitian to enhance our vibrant care team at Shady Knoll Health Center. This role is designed for a per diem professional who is passionate about providing exceptional nutritional care.

Work Schedule: 7 AM - 3 PM, two days per week.

Compensation: Competitive weekly pay, up to $39 per hour.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of the Dining Services Department, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
• Deliver high-quality nutritional services to residents, maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.
• Educate and train staff on dietary functions and therapeutic diet guidelines.
• Oversee menu planning and ensure adherence to dietary requirements.
• Manage inventory and ensure sufficient supplies are available at all times.
• Conduct regular inspections of dietary service areas to uphold sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics from an accredited institution.
• Current registration as a dietitian by the Committee of Dietetic Registration.
• Preferred: Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge in food management and diet therapy is advantageous.
