Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions using AWS, Azure, and/or Alibaba
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and/or Python
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with business applications
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improvement
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in technology infrastructure application delivery (operations)
  • 5+ years of experience with database platforms, including high availability design implementations
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies, Kubernetes, and cloud technology
  • 3+ years of experience with infrastructure automation, scripting, and configuration management
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, security, and IAM
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Experience with observability tooling, security tool integration, and DevOps tooling
  • Cloud certifications and ITIL V4 foundation certification
What We Offer

Marriott International offers a competitive salary range of $96,038 to $209,169 annually, depending on location. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
