Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Comprehensive Patient Care
    • Conduct thorough health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
    • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed
    • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in Clinical Education and Research
    • Develop and implement educational programs for patients, families, and staff
    • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects
    • Mentor and precept students and new staff members
  • Support Clinical Operations
    • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to decision-making processes
    • Assist with the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth clinical operations
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Master's degree from an accredited school of nursing or physician assistant program
    • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois
    • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois
    • Acute care certification required for APRNs
    • First Assist Certification for all APRNs
  • Experience and Skills
    • 2+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
    • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of orthopaedic care
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
