Job Overview

At Ernest, we're seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team of professionals in the commercial electrical services industry. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality electrical services to our clients, ensuring their electrical systems are safe, efficient, and up-to-code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in accordance with National Electric Code.
  • Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation.
  • Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards.
  • Provide estimates to clients based on your findings.
  • Communicate any issues to clients, and discuss payment options and scheduling.
  • Record all payments and costs for company databases.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of commercial and residential electrical experience.
  • Knowledge of current NEC as it relates to commercial electrical systems.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Spanish verbal and written communication skills are an asset.
  • Professionals within the electrical service industry.
  • Self-driven history and desire for advancement.
  • Desire to go beyond expectations.
