Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Per Diem Float Pool team at Albany Medical Center. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care and assist in various clinical functions to support our healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and accurately record patient vital signs
  • Document patient history and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff
  • Participate in in-office procedures under the direction of a licensed healthcare provider
  • Perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing and venipuncture for lab testing
  • Prescription call-backs within scope of practice
  • Prepare patient charts for clinical information and maintain inventory of supplies
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Previous experience in patient care setting preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • LPN licensure in New York State required
Working Conditions

This role requires standing, walking, and lifting frequently. The work environment is fast-paced and may involve exposure to noise, hazards, and temperature changes.
