Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Cooperative Laundry SMS. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operational performance of our material handling equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of conveyor systems, electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Lead by example and provide guidance to junior technicians and helpers.
  • Work closely with operations to create and execute daily work plans, including coordinating with teams and scheduling time with equipment.
  • Mentor technicians to help them achieve their goals and develop positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet organizational needs.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in operation machinery with electrical experience and at least 1 year of experience in overseeing, delegating, and providing leadership to other employees.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is desirable.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Comfortable with change and capable of working in a dynamic environment.

Working Conditions

  • Availability for rotating shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential.
  • Future domestic travel may be necessary for training and to visit other locations.
  • All workstations are climate-controlled for optimal comfort.
