Job Title: Senior Nuclear Command and Control Systems Engineer

Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nuclear Command and Control Systems Engineer to join our team in Arlington, VA.

About the Role:

We are looking for a senior-level, self-starting, detail-oriented, and technically proficient individual to provide direct support to the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)). The successful candidate will assist in developing and coordinating a significant command and control development plan to influence strategic C3 architectures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and coordinate a significant command and control development plan to influence strategic C3 architectures.
  • Assist in the analysis, planning, coordination, and execution of NC3S Research and Development (R&D) related activities.
  • Support the identification and selection of new R&D efforts and participate in and coordinate the work of a highly qualified team.
  • Work with the NC3 Enterprise Center, providing weekly highlights to government officials and support the development of a technology development plan and roadmap.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 20 years professional experience with Nuclear or Senior Leader C3.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field of study and Master's Degree (preferred).
  • Clearance: TS/SCI.
Desired Experience:
  • Expert in developing system solutions to complex and challenging DoD problems.
  • Experience in supporting technical, managerial or operational fields and have expert credentials or be recognized as an authority and have the professional judgement required to advise senior government personnel.
  • Expert in NC3 systems, mission threads, and technologies applicable to the NC3 mission.
  • Experience with: National Event Conferences, Continuity of Operations (COOP)/Continuity of Government (COG) National Military Command Center (NMCC) and/or National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC).
  • Experience supporting the White House Communications Agency (WHCA).
  • Experience/familiarity with Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) process.
