Copy Supervisor

About the Role:

As a Copy Supervisor at McCann Health Managed Markets, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily creative requirements for assigned brands, ensuring timely and budget-friendly project delivery while maintaining high design standards. You will collaborate with agency departments to manage workload and ensure manuscript accuracy, referencing, annotating, and submissions for a smooth MLR process. Additionally, you will present creative work to clients regularly, often with minimal supervision, and participate in strategic brainstorming and brand brief development.

A Day in the Life:

• Brand Leadership: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the brand, leveraging strategic, scientific, and creative expertise to drive innovative solutions.
• Team Development: Supervise and mentor direct reports, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and inclusivity, and providing constructive feedback to elevate their creative work.
• Creative Excellence: Develop and execute bold, strategic, and persuasive ideas, ensuring high-quality creative work that meets client needs and advances brand goals.
• Client Partnerships: Build and maintain strong, respected client relationships, providing effective presentation and communication of creative work, and driving collaborative solutions.
• Strategic Insights: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, research, and data, applying insights to drive innovative solutions, and sharing knowledge with the team to enhance collective expertise.
• Operational Efficiency: Oversee project execution, manage budgets, and maintain accurate records, ensuring efficient and professional delivery of creative work, and contributing to agency initiatives and growth.

Requirements:

• Experience and Expertise: At least 4 years of copy supervisory experience in a fast-paced agency, with a strong background in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare copywriting.
• Leadership and Portfolio: Previous leadership experience and a compelling portfolio showcasing creative expertise.
• Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to express yourself clearly and professionally with diverse teams.
• Creative Collaboration: Proven ability to engage in creative conversations, present ideas effectively, and suggest innovative solutions.
• Professional Qualities: Excellent attention to detail, confident, self-motivated, and proactive in expanding industry knowledge.
• Work Approach and Requirements: Ability to work autonomously, collaborate with senior-level teams, and adapt to occasional travel requirements.

Salary

$110,000 - $126,500 annually.
