Overview

Stryten Energy is a leading provider of energy storage solutions. Our batteries power a wide range of applications, from transportation to motive power. We work with retail partners to deliver batteries to customers and sell directly to our customers. Our Salina facility is part of the transportation division and is located at a major industrial site. The internship will be a full-time opportunity, 40 hours a week, and will begin in May 2025 and end in August 2025. This is a paid opportunity, but housing is not provided, so you must have your own housing and transportation arrangements.

Responsibilities

As an intern, you will be exposed to the industrial battery business and have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in this field. You will be an active participant in various engineering projects and will collect and analyze data to improve products and projects. You will also develop cost reduction and product quality improvement ideas and design and develop LEAN initiatives, Kaizen, and TPM events to optimize business processes and practices.

Qualifications

We are looking for students who are graduating between December 2025 and May 2027 and are working towards a BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering. You must have a GPA of 3.0 or greater and have your own housing and transportation arrangements. The position requires you to work onsite daily. Our environment is casual but professional, and our interns are exposed to senior-level leaders. We want our interns to challenge us and provide creative solutions to projects.
