Position Overview

The Professional Services Group (PSG) is a community-focused organization dedicated to empowering individuals and families through innovative and effective social services. We are seeking a Child Welfare Licensing Liaison to support our mission by facilitating the licensing process for various child welfare facilities.

Compensation: $19.00 per hour

Key Duties of the Child Welfare Licensing Liaison:

  • Assist state licensing officials in evaluating Serious Incident Reports (SIRs) and provide informed recommendations.
  • Support state licensors during verification visits to ensure compliance.
  • Follow guidelines established by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and PSG training.
  • Utilize knowledge of Wisconsin Administrative Code Chapters DCF 56, DCF 54, DCF 52, DCF 57, and DCF 59 to conduct licensing activities.
  • Gather necessary information as required for licensing processes.
  • Offer technical support to various facilities.
  • Assist state licensors in documenting information within the state system.
  • Manage initial and renewal applications effectively.
  • Help with open records requests and audits conducted by the Legislative Audit Bureau.
  • Provide support during court conversions as needed.
  • Contribute to the creation and upkeep of training and resource materials as directed.
  • Be available via phone to address inquiries from licensors or facilities.
  • Ensure all documentation meets program standards and is completed within designated timeframes.

Work Environment: This position is primarily remote, with occasional responsibilities at state-licensed facilities.

Work Schedule: The typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
