Job Title: Insurance Underwriter - Allied Healthcare Med-Mal

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Underwriter to join our team at Diedre Moire Corporation. As an Insurance Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting and analyzing new and renewal Allied Healthcare book of business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and price coverages with an emphasis on allied healthcare entities, including blood banks, weight loss centers, acupuncturists, substance abuse centers, medical spas, ambulance services, home healthcare service providers, hospice care businesses, nursing homes, kidney dialysis facilities, and similar entities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely underwriting decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure compliance and excellence in underwriting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in insurance underwriting, preferably in the allied healthcare industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in insurance underwriting software and systems.
