Job Responsibilities- Deliver direct care to patients undergoing orthopedic procedures, including pre-operative preparation, intraoperative care, and post-operative recovery.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other nurses, to ensure seamless and efficient patient care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based practice to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in orthopedic nursing.
- Support a culture of safety and quality by identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to process improvements.
- Current RN licensure in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Magnet-designated positions require BSN or higher.
- Graduate RNs may practice under supervision with a temporary practice permit.
- Successful completion of the Nurse Residency Program required for all Clinical Nurse 1 RNs.
- CPR certification from American Heart Association (AHA) within 30 days of hire.
We offer a competitive salary range of $68,000-$85,000 annually, based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits package, including:
