Job ObjectiveDesign and develop electrical systems and connectivity/application solutions for All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV), Side-by-Side (SxS), Marine, and Power Equipment products.
Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Design Specialist
Lead the development of intricate component and system designs for ATV/SxS vehicles, ensuring compliance with specifications, requirements, and manufacturing standards independently. Decompose complex tasks and delegate effectively. Maintain comprehensive technical, development, and administrative records.
Set cost objectives for assigned components that align with development goals. Refine part/system designs to ensure compliance with targets.
Create and oversee project timelines to meet deadlines. Communicate resource needs and concerns with management, and efficiently utilize contractor resources with minimal oversight. Provide real-time project updates and actively participate in project meetings and development activities.
Generate innovative ideas that contribute to the advancement of new technologies. Guide and support the maturation of concepts for development applications independently.
Prioritize and address market quality issues. Employ problem-solving techniques to identify root causes. Develop and implement specifications as necessary without supervision. Lead efforts to prevent recurrence.
Connectivity Solution Development
Collaborate closely with the connectivity planning leader to align on technology strategies and roadmaps for ATV, SxS, Marine, and Power Equipment products.
Define hardware and software requirements and objectives.
Partner with external organizations to create connectivity/application solutions.
Evaluate prototype solutions to ensure they meet functional and performance criteria.
Qualifications, Experience, and SkillsMinimum Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum Experience:
- 8 years of experience in Connectivity/Application development or a related field.
Other Job-Specific Skills:
- Proven experience in managing software development projects and estimating resource needs.
- Demonstrated success in defining and building Connectivity/Application products.
- Strong project management capabilities to handle multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
- Excellent collaboration skills across diverse and matrixed teams and clients.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, including experience utilizing data to inform decision-making.
- Ability to convey complex technical information succinctly to various stakeholders, both verbally and in written formats.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and various web-based databases.

Hazards: Potential exposure to hazardous materials and equipment, including off-road vehicle operation.
Overtime: Anticipated based on project demands, often requiring work outside standard business hours, particularly for meetings across different time zones.
