Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system-level mixed-signal architecture, experience with OrCAD software suite, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Design, develop, build, and test high-quality PCBAs and electronic systems, including schematic and layout work.
  • System Architecture: Architect electrical systems from system-level to circuit-level based on requirements.
  • Hardware Testing: Perform board bring-up and initial hardware testing.
  • Microcontrollers: Design and develop systems around MCUs and ARM microcontrollers.
  • Instrumentation: Develop systems around instrumentation peripherals.
  • Prototyping: Conduct fabrication and testing of prototype systems, document design modifications.
  • Collaboration: Work with multi-discipline engineering teams to design and develop new boards and products.
  • Compliance: Use engineering methodology and procedures in line with company SOPs.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 10 years of relevant experience; or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of system-level mixed-signal architecture, experience with OrCAD software suite, high-speed digital signal layout requirements, analog signal processing, and embedded microcontrollers.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with product compliance management tools (e.g., Paradigm 5, Intellect Compliance).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Problem-Solving: Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of converting requirements into finished designs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree: M.S. in Electrical Engineering.
  • Additional Skills: Experience in writing firmware in C/C++, EMI/EMC regulatory approvals, OrCAD symbol and footprint libraries, embedded microcontrollers, and project management.
