Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Battery Electrical Engineer to support the development of high-voltage battery systems and components for electric vehicles.

Main Responsibilities
  • Technical ownership of system design, development, and validation of HV battery systems
  • Lead battery pack system level circuit diagram and input/output port definition to ensure electrical functionality
  • Technical delivery of battery and energy storage projects, including connectors, bus bars, contactors, and fusing selection and specifications
  • Requirements review and specification according to international regulations and standards
  • Management of device transmittal lists and establishment of a database for device transmittal lists
  • Design and optimization of electrical components
  • Risk and hazard reviews utilizing DFMEA and PFMEA
  • Collaboration with other engineering teams and participation in customer visits and engineering activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, system engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge of product delivery process from requirements capture to design validation
  • Deep knowledge of electric vehicle technologies and architectures, battery systems
  • Understanding of electrical powertrain system functionalities and attributes at vehicle, system, and component levels
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in battery electrical or related fields
  • Good oral, written, and presentation English communication skills
  • Proven technical background with experience in requirements management, system themes, architectures, and interface definitions
  • Familiarity with Lithium-ion battery technology
  • Enthusiasm for innovation and creativity
What We Offer

We offer a competitive total compensation package, including a base pay range of $100,000-$140,000 USD, depending on skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.
