Position Overview:
The Senior Operations Support Analyst plays a crucial role in executing a diverse range of analytical and administrative responsibilities that bolster the organization's objectives. This position involves overseeing staffing requirements and monitoring both internal and external communications with designated functional sectors. The analyst will initiate, develop, revise, and recommend policies, plans, procedures, and directives under the mentorship of senior personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in defining and documenting processes into standardized operating procedures or other formal documentation.
- Ensure cohesive and coordinated planning for short-term, mid-term, and long-term projects and tasks.
- Identify current or potential operational challenges and propose corrective measures.
- Provide guidance and support to senior staff regarding assigned programs, preparation of briefings, and achievement of objectives.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations support.
- Experience in providing operational assistance to Department of Defense (DoD), Program Executive Office (PEO), or Program Manager (PM) organizations.
- Possession of a Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with project management processes, including risk assessment and management support.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, offering advice and support to organizational leadership, staff, and program managers on assigned initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills to assess issues and recommend suitable solutions.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a sense of urgency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Certification in Office 365 or SharePoint.
Security Clearance:
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
