We are seeking a skilled Power Generation Technician to join our team at Cummins. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing preventative maintenance and basic repair activities on generators and components at customer sites.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Completing preventative maintenance and basic repair activities on generators and components at customer sites
  • Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Applying specialized tools and following documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete basic repairs
  • Completing required documentation, such as service worksheets and timesheets
  • Completing training in line with skill and business requirements

**Requirements**

  • Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities
  • Experience with power generators, load banking, preventive maintenance, ATS, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tools
  • Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products
  • Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision

**Education and Certifications**

  • Apprentice Certified Power Generation/Electrical Technician (preferred)
  • Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution
  • Current relevant electrical certification
