Job Summary

As a Medical Laboratory Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Your expertise will be essential in examining blood and bone marrow samples, testing for bacteria and viruses, and analyzing tissue, blood, and fluid specimens.

Key Responsibilities

Perform clinical laboratory procedures in hematology, immunohematology, clinical chemistry, serology, bacteriology, parasitology, and urinalysis

Collect and process blood specimens for testing

Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies

Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide accurate and timely test results

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to pass a physical exam and meet military standards

Must be between the ages of 17 and 35

Must meet citizenship requirements
