The Informatics Specialist serves as a key constituent bridging the gap between people, processes, clinical knowledge, and technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize data to drive process and workflow changes related to electronic medical records and clinical technology.
  • Document specifications for tools, reports, and systems to support organizational business needs.
  • Collaborate with departments to develop and revise initiatives and programs related to data collection, retrieval, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Serve as a resource for end users, communicating system changes, workflow process changes, and downtime procedures.
  • Act as a key resource for education, support, training, policies, and procedures, providing ongoing education and support for upgrades, new releases, and enhanced functionality.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree, Registered Nurse, desired
  • Three years clinical nursing experience, desired
  • Proficient with Clinical Information Systems, required
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA/HiTech regulations and policies, required
