Are you an experienced metal worker with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality? We are in search of a dedicated individual who is enthusiastic about metal fabrication and welding, eager to take on challenges, and focused on producing exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely construct and assemble metal frameworks and machinery utilizing MIG welding techniques (TIG welding skills are advantageous), along with band saws, shears, metal punches, and precise measuring instruments.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding apparatus while adhering to company and personal safety protocols.
  • Assess and determine the appropriate size and length of welds needed when specifications are not provided.
  • Interpret blueprints accurately to identify necessary operations, materials, and timelines for projects.
  • Deliver the required quality of finished products (with and without the use of fixtures) within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Basic computer proficiency is essential, including accuracy in managing inventory transactions.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle a variety of tasks.
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively to foster a positive work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow procedures and instructions effectively.
  • Enjoyment in hands-on work and pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS (or equivalent) certification.
  • Experience with CNC machinery, such as Plasma or Laser cutting.
  • Ability to program and operate robotic welding equipment.
