As a Nurse Coordinator, you will offer vital education and support to patients on their path to receiving a transplant. Your empathy, organizational skills, and clinical knowledge will empower patients, ensuring effective coordination and enhancing outcomes. Qualifications:

Required:
- Registered Nurse license in the relevant state
- Phlebotomy Certification
- Completion of all necessary orientation programs

Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) certification

Essential Functions:
- Manage all facets of the evaluation and listing process for deceased and living donor transplantation for patients with Chronic Kidney Disease.
- Act as a liaison between the healthcare institution and all referring dialysis centers and physicians.

- Ensure continuity of care through effective communication and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team in all areas of the transplant department.

- Utilize an understanding of growth and development principles to assess each patient’s age-specific needs and provide appropriate treatment.

100% of job responsibilities are focused on pre-transplant activities.
