Job Title: Protestant Musician and Worship Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Protestant Musician and Worship Leader to join our team at Ladgov Corporation.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for a talented musician to lead worship services and coordinate music selections with our chaplain.

As a Protestant Musician and Worship Leader, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting PowerPoint slides, securing musical scores and equipment, and advising our chaplain on budgetary needs.

You will also coordinate rehearsal times with our band and musicians, and provide keyboard/piano accompaniment, band/choral direction, and leadership for worship services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate music selections and requirements with the lead chaplain of the Protestant congregation.
  • Prepare and provide PowerPoint slides or similar visual software with appropriate background graphics of service music.
  • Setting up and securing musical scores, lead sheets, lyric sheets, and hymnals, and other necessary musical instruments or equipment involved with rehearsals/performances.
  • Advise the lead Protestant chaplain concerning budgetary needs for the congregation music program monthly.
  • Coordinate rehearsal times with the band and musicians.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience as a worship musician and lead singer.
  • Knowledge of church calendar, hymnody, urban/contemporary worship music, read music, and a general knowledge of liturgical principles.
  • Select music appropriate to the season and conduct the PPT band.
  • Provide keyboard/piano accompaniment, band/choral direction and leadership for worship service.
  • Guide the band/musicians, congregational singing, lead the PPT, and ensemble singing.
