Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our Grand Island operation. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to perform preventative maintenance procedures on all equipment assigned to you by the maintenance supervisors/lead hand. You will also assist other areas of the plant when major problems occur.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance procedures on all equipment assigned to you by the maintenance supervisors/lead hand.
- Assist other areas of the plant when major problems occur.
- Complete all assigned tasks, both scheduled and unscheduled, as directed by your supervisor.
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, including monitoring and documenting all maintenance areas as required by safety, food safety, company policy, and procedures.
