Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Quality Planning Engineer to join our team at Molex. As a key member of our Product Development Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Your primary focus will be on facilitating the use of Advanced Quality Planning tools to manage and mitigate project risk, ensuring a flawless product launch that meets our customers' quality, delivery, and cost requirements.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Design Engineers, Manufacturing Integration Engineers, and Process Engineers, to ensure that all project quality deliverables are completed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality plans for new products and product modifications
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce scrap, improve throughput, and improve methods and systems
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality and compliance
  • Perform process and product quality audits to qualify new production processes

Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Experience in Quality Engineering or related field
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of metrology and GD&T
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using Minitab or other software
  • Experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
