Position Responsibilities:

As a Dietary Cook, you will:

  • Work closely with the Dietary Manager and Registered Dietitian to develop menus tailored to patient needs.
  • Maintain rigorous HACCP protocols and monitor food temperatures throughout the service process.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and food safety standards, including proper use of utensils and gloves.
  • Engage with patients and staff during meal service, exemplifying excellent customer service.
  • Prepare snacks and nourishment in accordance with resident preferences and dietary guidelines.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and potential overtime. Food Safety/Sanitation certification is preferred.

Experience:

Previous experience in food service, particularly in a healthcare setting, is preferred.
