Job Summary

We are seeking a Dishwasher to join our team at Bob Evans Restaurants. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our dish tank area, ensuring clean dishes are available for service, and adhering to food safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized dish tank area, ensuring clean dishes are available for service.
  • Follow food safety guidelines for washing, drying, and storing dishware and utensils.
  • Remove cardboard and grease from the parking lot and maintain the cleanliness of property around the restaurant.
  • Empty trash from designated areas throughout the shift.
  • Work with other staff to ensure 100% guest satisfaction in terms of dining room cleanliness.
  • May be asked to assist in other job categories as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant environment.
  • Relies on experience and good judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • General knowledge of commercial dishwashing is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for entire shifts and walk for long periods without rest or sitting down.
  • Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to reach with hands and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

Estimated Salary: $12-$15 per hour based on experience and geographic location.
