As a key member of our Contact Center, you will provide exceptional support to our Veterans and their families, addressing their questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide accurate and empathetic responses to customer inquiries, resolving issues and escalating concerns as needed.
- Utilize a multi-screen computer system, including a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application, to manage customer interactions and maintain accurate records.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with VA employees, outside agencies, and the public.
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of customer information.
- Organize and prioritize multiple tasks, working effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- 6 months of work experience in customer service and call center environments.
- Ability to work in a virtual environment, with a reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, remaining calm and composed in high-stress situations.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with the military and veteran community programs is a plus.
