We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance and Reliability Manager to join our Operations team at Chemours. This role will report directly to the Plant Manager at our Louisville, KY location.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a site-level reliability strategy to improve production capabilities and ensure efficient maintenance activities.
- Lead the development of asset management plans, preventive/predictive maintenance programs, and long-term maintenance outages to support business objectives.
- Manage maintenance metrics and prioritize actions to drive improvement and cost reduction.
- Develop and implement a strong cost management structure for Maintenance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and develop direct reports, and other leaders and subordinates through training and collaborative problem-solving.
- Primary interface with contracted work within the area, including cost and capital work.
- Develop and implement a spare equipment and spare parts strategy to optimize production capability and working capital.
- Ensure maintenance and reliability work management processes are effectively implemented and improved.
- Represent Louisville on corporate reliability and maintenance networks to influence development and local implementation of corporate best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 10 years' experience in the chemical manufacturing industry, leading maintenance and reliability programs, and managing direct reports.
- Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM), specifically the safe management of design changes at a plant, PHAs, and Mechanical Integrity programs.
- Strong technical, analytical, team building, and organizational change leadership skills.
- Strong interpersonal and influence management skills.
- Experience in project leadership/management and continuous improvement (Six Sigma or Lean).
- Professional Reliability Certification, ex. CRE, CRP, CRL, CMRP, RE Certificate.
- Previous experience within contract management.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP-PM, SAP-MM & Maintenance Work Management Systems.
- High Hazard Process manufacturing experience.
- Familiar with national standards such as API 510 & 570 & 653.
