We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of complex facility systems, including electrical and mechanical systems, in a distribution center environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General building and office maintenance
  • Maintenance, modification, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic and electro-mechanical systems
  • Support for all facility systems, departments, and equipment
  • Capacity to learn all phases of facility maintenance, including electrical troubleshooting
  • Self-starter in new system and equipment learning and training
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance tasks
  • Lead preventative maintenance efforts and demonstrate skills in all phases of facility maintenance

Requirements:

  • Aptitude for troubleshooting control systems
  • Ability to learn the NEC and some light electrical construction experience
  • Moderate ability to read and understand electrical schematics
  • Ability to learn and desire to understand electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ability to learn and follow LOTO and OSHA regulations
  • Preferred trade school certification or other verifiable training in a relevant technical field
  • Working knowledge of Mechanical/HVAC, Electrical, or a combination of both
  • Ability to learn quickly and address issues as they arise
  • Flexibility with work hours and days, including holidays and short notice call-ins

Physical Requirements:

  • General office demands and ability to meet demands of facilities work
  • Ability to lift/carry items up to 100 pounds and climb ladders
  • Ability to operate motor vehicles, power equipment, and work at heights
