Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, including industrial cleaning, sanitation, and upkeep of equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform industrial cleaning and sanitation tasks, including washing down, shoveling, and sweeping, as well as cleaning screens with the aid of a respirator.
  • Operate various equipment, including skid steer loaders, scissors lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and hand and power tools.
  • Assist in maintenance, railroad, and groundwork tasks, such as mowing, trimming, landscaping, and snow removal.
  • Work from elevated areas, such as ladders, platforms, and scaffolding, utilizing fall protection equipment when required.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and customers to accomplish assigned tasks and develop sound customer relations.
  • Perform other work as defined by the company and/or customer.
Requirements
  • 0-2 years of experience in industrial cleaning is desirable.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other vehicles in a safe manner.
  • Ability to wear a respirator while performing tasks.
