We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join one of the largest industrial gas firms, focusing on the Southwest region. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:


• Deliver technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for all instrumentation systems across the designated area, including PLC/DCS hardware, control wiring, I/O transmitters, positioners, control valves, pneumatic systems, and analytical instruments.


• Aid in the redlining, upkeep, and creation of essential electrical and instrumentation documentation.


• Collaborate with plant instrument technicians to diagnose and rectify malfunctioning instrumentation, providing guidance on Management of Change (MOC), plant/equipment outages, and root cause analysis.


• Identify, develop, and implement instrumentation maintenance initiatives, which may involve instrument replacements, upgrades, new installations, and calibrations.

Conduct technical reviews of MOCs related to area instrumentation and supply additional engineering data, drawings, and analyses as required.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering field.


• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an operational and engineering setting.


• Willingness to travel as needed.
