Job Summary:

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator - Infection Prevention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare organization, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and evaluating infection prevention and employee health programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement infection prevention and employee health programs in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines.
  • Monitor infection prevention practices and employee health screening, and conduct surveillance for hospital-acquired infections in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention definitions.
  • Responsible for timely reporting of infections and events to all proper health authorities.
  • Develop and implement education and development programs to ensure clinical and staff competency.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, hospital leadership, and department heads to ensure program effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Minimum one (1) year acute care experience required.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
  • One (1) year of professional development experience preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience as a registered nurse preferred.
