We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Vibra Hospital of Fargo. As a RN Clinical Educator, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing education and development programs for our staff, with a focus on clinical competency and infection prevention.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement education and development programs for staff, with a focus on clinical competency and infection prevention.
- Monitor infection prevention practices and employee health screening, and conduct surveillance for hospital-acquired infections in accordance with CDC definitions.
- Responsible for timely reporting of infections and events to all proper health authorities.
- Develop and implement programs to ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local standards and guidelines.
- Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Knowledge of epidemiology, microbiology, infectious disease, and aseptic technique, including standard/universal precautions.
- Minimum one (1) year acute care experience required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
- One (1) year of professional development experience preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience as a registered nurse preferred.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
