Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on generators and components at customer sites with minimal supervision.
  • Engage with customers in a courteous and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Apply specialized tools and follow documented procedures to diagnose and complete basic repairs, including preparing required parts and tools.
  • Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in line with business requirements.
  • Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any issues or incidents to supervisors.
Requirements
  • Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
  • High Voltage/Low Voltage experience.
  • Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision, with hands-on experience working on power generation products.
  • Flexibility to work various hours and days of the week, with the ability to be on call and available for emergency needs.
  • Must meet all requirements to drive a Company vehicle, including a valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Must be able to physically lift 50 pounds occasionally and wear required personal protective equipment as needed.
Qualifications
  • A technical/trade school degree from an accredited program or equivalent work experience.
  • Qualifications for different technician levels:
    • Technician Level II: Some relevant technician experience, qualified to perform work on an intermediate number of products, primarily engaged in moderately complex maintenance and repair.
    • Technician Level III: Significant relevant technician experience, qualified to perform work on most or all products, frequently engaged in complex diagnosis and repair.
Additional Requirements
  • A current valid license is required for this role.
  • This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations.
  • This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
  • 3 years driving experience.
  • This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations, including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use.
  • Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older.
Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.

Salary Range: $21.54 - $43.85
