Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, modify, calibrate, and repair complex aircraft electrical systems and equipment.
  • Perform final functional and operational testing of these systems.
  • Replace defective controls units, relay boards, servo units, or other components.
  • Set up and operate computerized multiple circuit analyzing equipment to test and analyze circuitry and interconnected cabling of systems.
  • Interpret and apply technical information such as technical orders, repair manuals, schematics, etc., concerning wire codes, wiring configuration, and testing procedures.
  • Set-up and operate computer-controlled automated test equipment (ATE).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least four years of recent verifiable experience in electrical systems repair and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of operating electrical principles.
  • Experience using hand and electrical test units, meters, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
