Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team at CPChem's Knoxville manufacturing location. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in daily safety routines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform calibration functions on processing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Use basic hand and power tools to complete tasks and maintain equipment.
  • Measure pipe and verify dimensional tolerances to ensure product quality.
  • Prepare product for shipping according to packaging requirements.
  • Assist team members as needed to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds without assistance and stand for long periods on concrete flooring.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Detail-oriented with a demonstrated work history of shift work and a commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to work safely in a team-oriented environment.
  • General knowledge and experience using hand tools.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply new information and technology.
  • Proficient in communicating in English (verbal and written).
  • Available to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of plastics extrusion processes.
