JOB OVERVIEW
  • Conducts ultrasound assessments of cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vessels to aid healthcare professionals in diagnosing circulatory disorders.
  • Monitors blood circulation.
  • Identifies vascular blockages.
  • Detects blood clots, tumors, aneurysms, and other vascular irregularities.
  • Evaluates the feasibility of angioplasty as a treatment option.
  • Assesses the results of bypass or graft procedures on blood vessels.
  • COVID vaccination is mandatory.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least two years of experience in vascular sonography.
Licensure/Certification Requirements
  • Required - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or registry eligible (must obtain within one year of hire).
  • Advanced certification in specialty areas as per facility requirements.
  • CPR certification (by the American Heart Association).
  • BLS and ACLS certifications - American Heart Association.
