Responsibilities

  • Operate vascular ultrasound equipment to produce accurate and detailed images for diagnostic procedures in the Vascular Lab.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families to explain procedures and results, promoting transparency and trust.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with the latest technologies and techniques.
  • Contribute to the development of quality improvement initiatives and best practices in vascular ultrasound.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program in ultrasound technology or a related field.
  • Obtain a vascular credential (RVT, RVS, or RT(VS)) within one year of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association.
