We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing. This contract/ travel opportunity is based in Kennebunk, ME and offers a competitive rate of $1,804/40-hours for Travel and $1,780/40-hours for Local.

Job Description
  • Evaluate patients' physical and cognitive abilities and their surroundings to identify limitations and set goals.
  • Create customized treatment plans collaboratively with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Apply diverse therapeutic methods to improve patients' daily life skills and independence.
  • Provide guidance on adaptive tools and assistive devices.

The ideal candidate will have a valid and active Occupational Therapy State license, CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross (with AED), and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate patients' physical and cognitive abilities and their surroundings to identify limitations and set goals.
  2. Create customized treatment plans collaboratively with patients and healthcare teams.
  3. Apply diverse therapeutic methods to improve patients' daily life skills and independence.
  4. Provide guidance on adaptive tools and assistive devices.
  5. Instruct and practice daily living activities to enhance patient skills.
  6. Continuously assess and document patient progress, adapting plans as necessary.
  7. Maintain precise patient records, including evaluations and progress notes.
