Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Platinum TherapEASE Staffing. As a key member of our rehabilitation staff, you will work under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to provide hands-on patient care, assist in implementing treatment plans, and contribute to optimal recovery outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Assist Physical Therapists in conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients' needs, implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist, and provide direct patient care through therapeutic exercises, modalities, and other interventions.
  • Documentation and Communication: Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
  • Educational Support: Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, home exercises, and recovery strategies.
Qualifications
  • A current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • An Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of rehabilitation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
