Job Title: Electrical Superintendent

As an Electrical Superintendent at Aerotek, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of electrical professionals to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Customers, and other stakeholders to plan, organize, and direct the work of electrical crew employees daily.
  • Maintain familiarity with project plans, specifications, and job folders to ensure compliance with contract scope.
  • Plan and implement the layout and installation of electrical systems in accordance with job specifications.
  • Attend coordination meetings as required and provide necessary information to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Receive and review weekly job assignments and communicate requirements with the direct Project Manager.
  • Assist in monitoring and documenting project progress using appropriate forms and procedures as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Provide the workforce with current and accurate information generated by the Project Manager, including RFIs, memorandums, and other communication devices.
  • Assist in communicating company policies and procedures to the electrical crew.
  • Apply knowledge of the National Electrical Codes as needed to ensure compliance.
  • Order daily materials as needed for the work area and follow up on backorders as necessary through the Project Manager.
  • Monitor and track employee work time as necessary and assist the Project Manager and workforce in the proper coding of time cards.
  • Be available to the team for any questions regarding tasks being performed.
  • Ensure the job site is properly cleaned up at the end of each workday.
  • Ensure compliance with all job safety standards established by regulatory agencies.
  • Responsibly manage assigned truck, tools, and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Project Management experience in electrical construction.
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Codes and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
