Job Title: Electrical Superintendent

As an Electrical Superintendent at Aerotek, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of electrical professionals to deliver high-quality construction projects. Your expertise in project management, electrical layout planning, and installation will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of projects.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers, customers, and other stakeholders to plan, organize, and direct the work of electrical crew employees daily.
  • Maintain familiarity with project plans, specifications, and job folder contract scope.
  • Plan and implement electrical layouts and installations in accordance with project specifications.
  • Attend coordination meetings and provide necessary information to ensure project progress.
  • Receive and review weekly job assignments and communicate requirements with project managers.
  • Assist in monitoring and documenting project progress using appropriate forms and procedures.
  • Provide the workforce with current and accurate information generated by project managers, including RFIs, memorandums, and other communication devices.
  • Assist in communicating company policies and procedures to the electrical crew.
  • Apply knowledge of the National Electrical Codes as needed.
  • Order daily materials as needed for the work area and follow up on backorders through project managers.
  • Monitor and track employee work time and assist in the proper coding of time cards.
  • Be available to the team for questions regarding tasks being performed.
  • Ensure the job site is properly cleaned up at the end of each workday.
  • Ensure compliance with all job safety standards established by regulatory agencies.
  • Responsibly manage assigned truck, tools, and equipment.


Requirements:

  • Project management experience in electrical construction.
  • Knowledge of electrical layout planning and installation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and electrical crew employees.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
