Job Summary

We are seeking a Reporting Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our reporting team, you will be responsible for a full range of activities including calculating test results, performing QA/QC and data entry, and writing and assembling documents such as test protocols and test reports. You will work closely with project managers, field technicians, and other reporting staff to ensure data quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of test reports and other documents.

Responsibilities

• Calculate test results using spreadsheets and handwritten forms
• Perform QA/QC and data entry of field, laboratory, and calibration information
• Write and assemble documents such as test protocols and test reports
• Work with project managers, field technicians, and other reporting staff to ensure data quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of test reports and other documents
• Perform technical editorial review of draft and final documents for details, grammar, spelling, calculations, results, and conclusions
• Identify and investigate anomalies in data, such as inconsistent or suspect results, outlying run results, suspect handwritten data, etc., and escalate to other specialists or managers where necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or related field preferred
• 3+ years technical writing experience
• 3+ years of experience with air test methods, permits, and regulatory requirements
• Field testing experience is beneficial
• Intermediate user of cloud-based platforms (ex. Google Workspace), Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel & Word), and PDF editing software
