Customer Service Associate
Position Overview
The Customer Service Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by efficiently processing orders and addressing inquiries. This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
Reporting Structure
This role reports directly to the Operations & Install Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone.
- Input customer orders into our designated systems.
- Complete necessary documentation related to order processing.
- Oversee billing and shipping processes for all finalized orders.
- Maintain proficiency in company-required software and office equipment.
- Willingness to travel as business needs arise, with limited travel expected.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Essential Attributes
Demonstrated customer focus, aiming for overall satisfaction.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business documents in English.
Skilled in writing reports and business correspondence.
Capable of presenting information clearly and responding to inquiries from various stakeholders.
Adept at performing calculations related to pricing, discounts, and percentages.
Problem-solving skills to address variable situations effectively.
Prior experience in a related field, preferably within the cabinetry sector, is advantageous.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with prior experience in AS400 being a plus.
Experience in multitasking and prioritizing in a dynamic team environment.
Education Requirements
A high school diploma or GED is required, with higher education or business school certifications preferred.
