The successful candidate will have a strong background in information technology leadership, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining IT systems in a pharmaceutical or healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, network systems, and security systems.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to employees, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the procurement and installation of new hardware and software systems, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and ensure systems are backed up and recoverable.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Lead a small team of technology professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in IT management, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of security as well as networking and server technologies.
  • Strong understanding and technical application of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations and regulatory guidance for industry.
  • Excellent understanding of manufacturing operations and business processes for Pharma and/or manufacturing operations.
