EAM-Mosca Corp., a leading player in the automated packaging machinery and consumable strapping solutions sector, is in search of a dedicated Preventative Maintenance Technician to enhance our Field Service Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute maintenance tasks in accordance with the One Service Maintenance Contract, which encompasses routine predictive maintenance, wear part assessment, and fault detection.
  • Report potential equipment failure concerns following the One Service protocol.
  • Complete work orders to ensure accurate customer billing.
  • Manage parts inventory within the customer site’s Parts Locker to prevent service interruptions.
  • Document parts used on work orders for precise billing.
  • Collaborate with customer personnel to conduct annual parts locker inventory.
  • Assist in evaluating the requirements of newly contracted clients.
  • Identify serialized equipment to be included in the contract.
  • Perform audits on all machines designated for the contract.
  • Develop and maintain service schedules with contracted clients, ensuring quality service and efficient travel.
  • Provide training to operators as requested by clients.
  • Conduct periodic courtesy calls to strengthen relationships with plant personnel and boost confidence in the One Service Program.
Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive understanding of machinery systems, including pneumatic and hydraulic components, bearings, levers, channels, pulleys, cams, and camshafts.
  • Basic experience with control systems, particularly Allen Bradley, Siemens, and B&R PLCs.
  • Electromechanical experience with conveyance systems, including knowledge of sensors and electric motors.
  • Proficient in using a multimeter, performing point-to-point tests, and reading electrical schematics.
  • Ability to utilize and interpret calipers and micrometers.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude to promote the One Service Program.
  • Willingness to travel overnight and work weekends as necessary.
