Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team at Highland Springs, a beautiful 89-acre continuing care retirement community in North Dallas, Texas. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled comprehensive preventive maintenance procedures on residential and public area heat pumps, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance procedures on heat pumps, including filter changes, visual inspections, and lubrication of fan motors.
  • Inspect and repair condensate drains and pans, and add water treatment tablets as needed.
  • Check the operation of heat pumps and ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Inspect apartment smoke detectors and complete all issued work orders in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for maintaining proper levels of materials and supplies to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by the Supervisor or Facilities Maintenance Manager.
